Three and in

Adapted small sided games (SKILL – GOALKEEPING)

Three and in

EQUIPMENT – Bibs if needed – balls

A classic game from the past played in the street, park and playground. A great way for everyone to have a turn in goal.

Divide the pitch in two so there are two games with players playing against each other trying to score.

The keeper starts the game by kicking or throwing the ball into space.

Keeper gets a goal for every save he makes and changes after 3 goals are scored.

Who is the winner – the keeper or the outfield players? Who is the winner between the outfield players?

Considerations – players can/can’t enter the ‘D’.

Progression – two teams of two against the keeper.

“The goalkeeper is the lone eagle, the man of mystery, the last defender. Less the keeper of a goal than the keeper of a dream.” – Vladimir Nabokov
